For the Lord RPG, The Dark Ages campaign series...The Legacy of Lugano!This is the first of the Dark Ages campaigns. It is based in 7th Century Northern Italy around the Lugano Lake. It is an amalgam of history and myth, folklore and hagiographies (tales of monks) with a huge dose of classic RPG style adventures and stories. From scary rats to infected zombie like lost souls to evil spirits to giants and dragons and goblinoid cultish warriors, this setting has all the hallmarks of classic dark fantasy yet keeps it grounded in medieval myths that permeated the culture and cults of the time period. This is what the Church had to deal with, however fantastical, as it marched onward toward the vast dark Germanic Forests!Every 2 page spread is meant to have all a Grande Minister would need to access for that adventuring part, from the bios of nonplayer characters, simple backgrounds, intentions and conversion level, to the beasts and haunts with their stats, to the setting, town or catacomb and what is there. It is meant to be simple and accessible, filled with info but kept cursory for easy reference.There is additional GM guides and random tables and more plot derivative info in the appendix pages.It is understood, that a Christian RPG with evangelism and church planting at its core is a new and radical proposition! This book is meant to be chock full of ideas and examples of how to play this radical new paradigm shift in TTRPGs, but also to show how it was always like this and a forgotten lore. Purposely to push a pagan game and worldview all the while replacing the true history of Church that has given us the great freedoms and civilization we know and love today.
